Hello There!
My name is Nella. I grew up in Idaho. I have always loved creating things and using my imagination. When I was in 8th grade my dad taught me how to solder copper. That is when I started creating jewelry. I made rings for all of my friends and I have been experimenting with making jewelry ever since.
More About Me
I was born in a little town in Idaho. I lived there until I was eight years old then my parents moved our family out to a little ranch just out of town. I loved growing up with cows and all sorts of other animals. My siblings and I would be outside all day every day. In the summer we would swim in our pond every day. In the winter we would go out and make snowmen. We also loved to go look for rocks. That has been one of the things I still love to do.
If the weather wasn't very good we would go out to the shop and create things. My parents had tools to make just about anything a child could imagine. When my dad taught me to solder copper together, that's all I would do. I loved experimenting with it. With all of our rock searching I had kept an extensive collection that I wanted to combine with my copper soldering skills. So I learned how to make cabochons on our lapidary machine and how to set them to my copper rings using bezels.
Eventually two years ago, after dreaming about creating jewelry with silver, I finally decided it was time to order some silver supplies. It was a big decision for me financially but I'm so glad I decided to start working with silver. It has been quite a bit easier to make jewelry with silver than it is to use copper.
I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to open a jewelry business and I could not have done it without the support of all my family and friends.
Thank you!
